Founded in 1997 in Vancouver, Canada, Phanidri Business Plan Training & Consulting is committed to helping people build financial and business acumen through fun and effective financial workshops and thorough business plan reviews.

We believe that more proactive and productive business conversations and better decision-making can occur when everyone in an organization is conversant in the language of financial information and able to recognize the financial impact of strategic and day-to-day decisions.

A diverse career in large and small organizations, public and private, has provided Rochelle with a broad business perspective and an ability to translate issues and ideas across various types of organizations. A strong business education and active involvement on community boards and committees add to that perspective and to her ability to understand and support client needs and objectives.

Rochelle's work has included market research, financial audit and accounting, business plan development and review, financial modeling, project evaluation, business coaching and business training. She has developed and delivered several workshops and seminars – The Entrepreneurial Option, Creating an Effective Business Plan, Making the Choice to Start a Business, Understanding Financial Statements – Painfree!, Financial Statement Analysis and Building Financial Strength, which have been consistently well-reviewed.

Helping people in two critical areas that many like to avoid – understanding financial statements and business planning – has been a consistent theme in Rochelle's work. She is a Canadian Chartered Accountant and earned her MBA at the University of British Columbia.

Rochelle is capable, energetic and committed to the success of Phanidri clients and workshop participants. Her philosophy is to keep things simple yet thorough and to focus on the fundamentals.

"Phanidri"

The name Phanidri is a combination of the first two letters of the first names of each of Rochelle's grandparents. Leaving family behind, they all came to Canada in the early 1900's with only what they could carry and speaking no English. Their riches were in their characters and in their will to make a good life in a new land. They worked hard, they were entrepreneurs and they always contributed to community. So we honour them – Philip, Annie, Ida and Richard – and that whole generation of brave and inspired nation and community builders. They set a fine example.
